BREAKFAST SERVICE

Breakfast can be the nice occasion, especially for large groups, to gather together and meet before the day and the different activities start. In vacation it is such a luxury to have the time to chat in the morning and enjoy a rich breakfast buffet without the hassle of preparing and tidying up. Our breakfasts are quite accurate and well served. We can make a breakfast menu tailored to your wishes at different prices, for groups of minimum 10 people.

OUR EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

The perfect season to taste the most fragrant oil is around harvest time, approximately mid- October until Christmas. The Monastery has a centuries-long tradition as an oil mill. You still can see the huge stone mills that were used to grind the olives until the last century. Nowadays we still grow our own olive trees relying just on rain and sunshine. And use an outside very modern oil mill to guarantee quality and taste preservation by low temperature extraction. We offer our olive oil as a courtesy to our guest during their stay. It is also possible to buy it in 500 ml and 250 ml cans that can be easily transported or shipped.

WINE TASTING

Umbria is a region renowned for its wine production. Of particular interest is the Montefalco area, famous for its Sagrantino, Rosso di Montefalco, and Trebbiano Spoletino. The Collazzone area borders Montefalco. Collazzone, in turn, is home to renowned wineries, including CANTINA AGRI SEGRETUM e CANTINA BALDASSARRI.

HIKING & BIKING

It is possible to rent e-bikes and go on trips with or without a guide. In addition, the woods of Collazzone offer the possibility of excursions in every season (weather permitting) with or without a guide.

YOGA & FITNESS

Monastero di San Lorenzo can be the ideal place for a remise en forme from a physical and spiritual point of view. This is a special place selected millennia ago by our Benedictine fathers. Center of spirituality for centuries, it transmits great energy and at the same time great peace. Our experienced Yoga teacher can prepare a tailored program for you for any type of experience (beginners or experts) and age. ​And for those who appreciate the sweet pleasure of doing nothing may we suggest a relaxing massage by the hands of a skilled and experienced masseuse.

TOURS WITH GUIDE & DRIVER

The area offers interesting day trips. We can organize visits to cities of art: Assisi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Perugia…to name just a few. Siena, San Gimignano and Florence are also within reach of a morning-to-evening tour. Our highly experienced guide and reliable drivers can prepare a very interesting itinerary for you to enjoy at the most the experience of an area rich of art and historical sites.
