The area of Collazzone is rich of wine producers.
The most famous red wine, Sagrantino, is produced in Montefalco, which is 30/40 minutes away from the villa Contessa Matilde. The most appreciated white wine is Trebbiano Spoletino and the most typical white wine is Grechetto and they are produces in most areas of the Umbria region.

You can find their contacts in the internet and it is better to book your wine tasting in advance as they are usually very busy.
However if you wish to remain in the area closer to the villa and avoid long driving you have the choise between 2 producers that are just 15 minutes away.
LA SEGRETA: They produce mostly red wines including Sagrantino and Sangiovese.
They can organize a nice tasting with food snacks.
The other local producer is CANTINA BALDASSARRI: they also offer reds and whites. They are owned by a local family and in addition to the wines they offer prosciutto, salami and sausages of their own production.

They are totally devoted to the production of olive oil. They offer tasting of their several varieties of olive oil matched with food snacks. They can also organize bespoke dinners and lunches in their charming location.
